“Just before Easter, pupils at Bearnes Voluntary Primary School and Hennock Community Primary School were fortunate enough to receive a visit from the Bigfoot Arts Education – South West group who delivered Anti-Bullying workshops at each school.  Funded by The Helen Foundation,  Bigfoot Arts Education actors portrayed different characters in various situations involving bullying.

It was a great opportunity for the pupils to learn to recognise the negative impact bullying can have on people’s lives and how important it is for them to stand up to bullies. Bigfoot Art Education SW team were fantastic and the pupils really learnt a lot, I cannot thank everyone involved enough”.

Meanwhile, two pupils who attended the workshops said “I loved all of it. It was so much fun. I think bullying is so bad and I would help someone if I saw them being hurt of picked on”.

The schools are planning further events in the future and are looking forward to continuing working with The Helen Foundation, without whom they would not be able to put on such important events.”
