Solo artists such as “Jess”or Pete, alongside highly talented (young-ish!!) bands such as Tiny Folds and Datura featured alongside proven greats such as The UnOriginals, Sugar Shakers, Bad Mojo and The Maddigans and so many more. Pinnacle headline performers to finish each night (and pretty much finishing off the already hearing-challenged older Kirks in the process) were, of course, DAVE CAN’T DANCE and (who else, ever can do it so well?!) the incredible FIREKIND.
Great sound system as ever from Kyle: like the bands, Kyle offers his talent, full-on work and time for FREE. None of the performers were paid: the attendees were asked to donate generously to Helen Foundation in lieu. Thank you, artists-performers!
And to all the helpers. That means great bar staff, THF collectors, Jodie & others (barbecue & bar). Then Luke Hayes the total enabler, Mikey” the publicist/musician/FirekindSingerLifesaver (those who saw Mike transport Jas from one dangerous place to another know what THAT looked like!) and FINALLY to you who came and donated, getting wristbands and raffle tickets in support.
IF YOU HONESTLY COULDN’T FIND A BUCKET-COLLECTOR, please drop a donation in today to Cellars Bar. Or HELEN FOUNDATION has a PayPal account to donate: simply go on the website www.thehelenfoundation.org.uk
