Christmas Fundraising – a huge thank you to all!

Many hundreds of people watched the on-line eBay charity auction of the beautifully framed MUSE memorabilia from their 2015 Download Festival.  The winning bid – from Australia – raised over £1000 for THF

Thank you to all of you who bought THF Christmas cards this year. You helped raise over £800 – nearly double our previous best year!

Dawlish Mayor’s Charity Evening:  2 Choirs A –Singing.
A sell-out audience enjoyed a hugely entertaining evening with The Lost Sound and The High C’s – two choirs whose very different musical talents complement each other wonderfully well. Over £800 raised from the evening goes into the charity fund being raised by Mayor of Dawlish, Howard Almond, to benefit THF.

Singalong Shaldon Christmas carol-singing
Singalong Shaldon – a community choir in the village – held a brilliant carol-singing event in St Peter’s Church, Shaldon raising over £300 for THF.  Lovely event!  Thank you all so much.

Dawlish students bag-packing at Sainsbury’s      
10 students from Dawlish Community College took part in bag packing to support THF recently at Sainsbury’s, Dawlish.  The students worked in two shifts and raised £150 for the charity. Chairman of the Foundation Roger Kirk said:
“The youngsters were terrific. They were extremely well turned-out, worked hard throughout their shifts and were polite and helpful to customers, who were grateful for the help with their heavy pre-Christmas shopping.  Thank you so much!”
