DONT’ MISS THIS!
On Saturday, 12th December, at the Strand Centre, Dawlish starting at 7.00pm, two choirs present a superb selection of music with an added Christmas flavour. The event is being organised by Dawlish Mayor, Howard Almond, who has nominated The Helen Foundation as his charity of the year. The High C’s is based in Cockwood and sings a variety of popular songs from the 1970s to the present day. It’s a big, noisy, enthusiastic and lively choir that just loves to sing and has a great local following.
The Lost Sound Chorus comes from the Buckfastleigh area and under the leadership of Sandra Smith is a choir of outstanding quality. They sing acappella – without accompanying music – and range widely in their repertoire from traditional folk tunes and carols to songs from the shows. Sandra Smith is one of the region’s inspirational choir leader superstars and this is a special chance to see one of her choirs right here in our local area.
