Helen honoured in new Company Award

February 4, 2013

While Helen was seeking work as an actor in London, she joined Interfleet (an international rail consultancy company) as a receptionist. The company was very good to Helen, allowing her to attend auditions when they arose and giving her many opportunities to develop her skills. She truly impressed them and following her untimely death, members of the company produced a booklet of tributes from her work colleagues that was deeply moving. So many recalled her ready smile and warm, welcoming personality.

Recently, Jonny Beatty, Senior Proposals Manager at Interfleet wrote to THF to seek permission for Helen to be named on Interfleet’s new Memorial Trophy to remember colleagues that the company has lost in recent years. The trophy will be used as the prize for their Quiz Nights, Sports Days and other fun socials etc.

Jonny wrote:
“Helen was always full of fun and both she and Sally (Helen’s dearly-loved friend, Sally Jerram) were key to the types of social events where the trophy will be contested. I hope you will be happy for Helen to be named on the memorial trophy.”

Thank you Interfleet!
