Further support for Foundation from Kingskerswell School

January 7, 2013

Kingskerswell School was one of the very first schools to adopt The Helen Foundation award that annually honours young people who show “most endeavour in the arts”. The school has a proud tradition of excellence in the arts and has on several occasions raised funds for the charity. This academic year, 2012-2013, the school has selected the Foundation to support through its charity fund-raising programme.

Thank you so much everyone at the school – our Trustees are always delighted to visit.

Daniel Yiend wrote at the time:
“We had an artist called Sue Russel come to our residential and she taught them how to make giant willow fish sculptures. Thanks to your offer to pay for this experience, the children have had an incredible time and learnt lots of new skills.
