International rock stars Muse, patrons of The Helen Foundation, electrified the packed audience at The Roundhouse in London at the end of September. Playing the final gig of the 30-day iTunes Festival, the band performed several songs from their latest album – The 2nd Law – which is out now.
Earning rave reviews, the show in the intimacy of the Roundhouse was unforgettable. The gig was a charity event, with Muse nominating The Helen Foundation, The Roundhouse and WarChild as their benefiting charities. Matt, Dom and Chris kindly also allowed Muse Management to offer 2 tickets for charity auction to the Foundation and generous bidders pushed the final price for the tickets to £1,500. With sales from the merchandising and donations from those enjoying guest tickets, the final sum raised by the event for the Foundation is likely to be around £5,000.
Thank you so much to Muse, Muse Management, iTunes and The Roundhouse for a great event that was really successful for the charities involved. Good luck with remainder of the amazing European tour, guys!
