Personal trainer Alastair Woodman, based at The Gym Group, Exeter, has made a major contribution to the special Just Giving fund set up in memory of Ella Philp. Alastair sent himself the really challenging task of carrying out 12 full workouts over a 12 hour period. It was absolutely exhausting!
Alastair raised over £1000 from his superb efforts with donations from family, friends and local businesses who also contributed to a big raffle that Alastair ran. The funds raised will add to the nearly £4000 already donated in memory of Ella. The Helen Foundation, in conjunction with Ella's family, plan to use the money donated exclusively for a special arts event to benefit the young people in the schools and colleges that Ella loved so much and flourished so well in.
