It's Celebration Time - Helen's 40th!

HELEN'S 40TH BIRTHDAY - MARCH 8TH

LET'S CELEBRATE!

Helen (third from right) celebrating with house-group friends - all dressed up of course! - at her 21st birthday party at Aberystwyth University.

Helen loved family and friends, parties - and flowers! Can you send us this month a lovely photo of spring flowers, especially from your garden or from a local walk? Do send it with a message if you wish, that we can post on the THF Facebook site. Email your photo to:

THF trustees also want to do something really SPECIAL by way of celebration and something that will do something GREAT for the youngsters and schools that the charity supports across Teignbridge.

40for40! LET’S RAISE £40,000 by NEW YEAR’S EVE THIS YEAR!

Funds raised would establish a special Arts Recovery Fund for the coming academic year 2021-2022, which Teignbridge primary and secondary schools could access to boost their arts work so badly affected by the pandemic. Schools could:

  • bring in professional artists for arts-week workshops

  • buy in much-needed arts resources

  • devise a creative whole-school arts project

  • mount a major school production

Schools themselves individually would decide what would have the greatest arts impact for their students.

Now, in its 16th year (4 x 4 – of course!) can you help THF achieve something equally ambitious and continue to support thousands of young people to “dare to dream”?

THE POWER OF 4 - THF 40FOR40

We can’t run again in London just yet, but could you come up with a contribution that encompasses the numbers 4, 14, 40, 444, 4000 - whatever you can manage!

Maybe set yourself your own creative challenge? Of course, any contributions of any size would be very gratefully received and used to benefit young people in Teignbridge with terrific arts experiences and new opportunities to meet their own ambitions in the arts.

Here’s the link to the THF charity challenge on Virgin Money Giving: THF40for40. But, if you prefer, you could set up your own GoFundMe page - naming THF as your benefiting charity - and let us know what you are doing. Alternatively, you can send a donation via the donate page on the THF website and tag the donation THF40for40.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We’ll keep everyone up-to-date as the campaign rolls forward.

LET’S DO THIS!
