JJ'S ARTS ACADEMY

Each year, Joanna Walling, Director of JJ’s Arts Academy, proposes number of their students who could be eligible for THF support with their music lessons. It was really good to interview them by Zoom last month and trustees are considering their applications. More details next month.

THF is delighted to support with bursaries students who have challenging family finances, and who meet the THF bursary criteria, to help them pursue their ambitions in all the arts. Applications can be made on line by clicking here.

LAUREN MACDONALD

Lauren-Nicole, a singer-songwriter and keyboard player, is a current THF bursary holder benefiting from singing lessons with JJ's Arts Academy and using her Yamaha keyboard loaned to her by THF. She is also involved with Powderham Live! that we featured in a recent THF newsletter. Lauren was recorded singing "Always Remember Us This Way" and we think you will agree with us that she is a very talented young woman. Here's a link to her YouTube recording, made by Robin Brown of The Cave, who is closely involved as a teacher and mentor with Powderham Live!
