SHALDON PRIMARY SCHOOL


Led by artist Monica Shanta, Shaldon School recently had a well-focused and concentrated workshop on drawing techniques, including shading, blending, perspective and sketching.

Natalie Last from Shaldon School wrote:

"Thank you so much for coming in to lead the art workshop on Monday, Monica. The children really enjoyed it and were clearly very proud of their outcomes."


Afterwards, the children said:

“I found shading really fun because I like getting messy! I did find getting the shapes the right size and in the right place hard”.Liza

“I enjoyed all the freedom we got when we were doing our art.” Kathy

“I learned a lot about shading and really enjoyed drawing with pastels.” Hayden

"I found that the art day was really helpful and I really enjoyed it”. Ewan
