SOUND LAB

Sound Lab programmes, run by Evolve Music, support neuro-diverse young people through music-making. They approached THF for support funding for their project that started last month and is based in Gendinning Academy, Newton Abbot. Catherine Browning wrote to THF recently with the latest update.

"Last Friday we ran the second of two taster sessions for Glendinning students. The students have really enjoyed trialling not only the digital instruments, but also ukeleles, violin, Appalachian dulcimer and guitars.

We're now planning a Sound Lab ‘takeover’ at The Station’s ‘No Limits’ night as part of our outreach programme. It would be wonderful to reach as many neuro-divergent young people in the local area as we possibly can."

WE WISH THE PROJECT EVERY SUCCESS!
