Following the tragic death of Ella Philp aged 19, the family asked friends and relatives to donate to The Helen Foundation, a charity they had known about for some time. As a result of the funding raised in Ella’s name, and a top-up from The Helen Foundation, £5000 has been set aside for The Ella Philp Fund. Ella loved the arts, and musical theatre in particular. And with this fund, THF is able to offer schools in Teignbridge the opportunity to purchase licences for shows they would like to put on, or funding towards their own musical/theatrical performances. Schools are already applying with exciting ideas for shows this year. The fund is limited and fully-completed applications are being taken on a first-come-first-served basis.
