THE SUNSHINE FOLLIES - GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR BUDDING ENTERTAINERS!

Internationally known entertainer and teacher, Tony Lidington, has managed to secure further funding to join that already offered by THF enabling him to to run his special summer programme of seaside entertainment.

Key to the programme is high quality training offered to two young people aged 17-25 who will then go on to perform their own acts.

Tony writes:

"Training will focus on performance skills for family-friendly outdoor entertainment. We will aim to respond to the skills and interests of the trainees but general areas of focus are likely to include clowning, walkabout, audience interaction, circus skills, voice work and music, puppetry and commedia.

Each trainee will have the opportunity to develop a short act which they will then perform alongside the other Prom-Prom performers and other duties as part of Prom-Prom’s summer season in south Devon."
