Morgan and Shazza - the Silver Machine team - cycled 240 km in Cornwall, including reaching Lands's End. They are the very latest successful fund-raisers for the THF40for40 campaign. With their own target reached £2,200), this pushes the total already raised for THF40for40 to over £50,000 – a brilliant result! HUGE thank you to everyone who has contributed to the campaign so far- which remains open until the end of the year. Morgan kept a blog throughout and finished with this post:
SILVER MACHINE: DAY 7 - LAST DAY !!
St Miniver to Padstow, Padstow to Bodmin via The Camel Trail :48Km. London bound after 6 days of amazing cycling, all in all 320 km covered starting at Redruth and finishing in Bodmin, beautiful scenery the whole way, no mishaps except Shazza's (drunken mum!) dancing and a few train kerfuffels. All in all the perfect cycling experience, and for a great cause.
Huge thank-you to Roger & Annie Kirk at the Helen Foundation; all our AirBnB hosts; Russel at the Machine bike shop in Tower Bridge; Steve & Helen Brown; Sean Lascelles and the dancing bar staff at The Schooner; Will Nicholls and Fatty and Anna at Outlaw's Fish Kitchen in Port Isaac; and last but not least, all you lovely people who’ve donated so far !!!👍👍 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
£2,200 reached and more still coming in, we hope!
Cheers
Morgan & Shazza
