Sculptor Anne-Marie Moss worked with the children at Widecombe School on Dartmoor creating their own soft-stone scultures in a project supported by THF. Headteacher, Kate Edwards, writes:
“The children really enjoyed Arts Day on Thursday. All the children in Upper and Lower Dart were fortunate to work with Anne-Marie Moss, a sculptor who specialises in stone carving. The children learnt about different aspects of cutting and marking stone and produced some beautiful sculptures inspired by the tors of Dartmoor. These will be displayed at Widecombe Fair so please come and have a look.
A big thank you to the Helen Foundation for supporting this project.”
